Inspired by Edward Hopper’s iconic painting Nighthawks (1942), this evocative duet casts the vibraphone and flugelhorn as solitary voices in a quiet, late-night cityscape. The brass band provides a subtle, withdrawn accompaniment to the jazz-inspired solo parts.
